When i tried to send an email with an attahcment, this error message popped up: only one top element is allowed in a xml document. then i took the attachment off and the same message popped up. what does that mean? please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any solutions or suggestions.

You can only send so much html (hyper text markup language) over a Yahoo personal email account. Try toning down what you send, it true that Yahoo mail support 10Mb transmissions, but what they don't tell is they base that number on text being sent. I would look at the settings at the E- mail account. You might have to change the settings for incoming and outgoing servers.
