Question about GE Heating & Cooling
I have recently installed a Zoneline GE airconditioner in a room addition. The cool and heat model 2900 has a grill on the outside of the room. In the winter time I intend to use the unit to heat the room. Does it heat the air inside the room or does it pull in air from the outside?
should I wrap the outside of the unit to protect it from the winter elements and to stop drafts.
There is a drip line kit. Without this I assume that the water from the air conditioner will run out the back and onto the ground? It will not leak back into the room or the wall of the room?
Sincerely, Dave Burke.
Yes this will recycle the room and can be cover outside if it is not a heat pump and will use elec heat strips to heat. As long as it is tilled toward the back the water will run out the back without a drain kit there should also be a drain hole in the bottom.
