When door opens dishwaher does not switch off.

Normaly when you open the door the machine should switch off - the pump constantly pumps. I have checked the water inlet etc no problems there.

Many thanks

Hi siphoxolo,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: Normaly when you open the door the machine should switch off - the pump constantly pumps. You have checked the water inlet etc no problems there.

Sounds like a bad door switch. It's in the top of the door panel. You have to take the door apart to replace it. Not a job for the average homeowner. You might consider the Repair Directory for a repairman.

How do I correct an f9 e1 error?

F09 - Overflow condition
If the overflow contact on the pressure switch is closed for more than 60 seconds and overflow condition will occur. In an overflow condition, the door will remain locked, and the drain pump will run constantly, even if PAUSE/CANCEL is pressed twice and the Display is cleared. Unplug the unit to service.

Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or inked.
Check Wire Harness connectors to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
Check/Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects.
Check for Drain Pump Failure.
Check the Inlet Valve for proper shut off.
Check the Pressure switch for proper operation.

Hi it wont spin but turns on all features works just doesn't spin Cheers bel

Hi sometimes if there is a blockidge in the pump-filter or the pump is not working then it might stop the machine from spinning,
at the bottom of the machine is normaly along cover that you need to take off,or a little door, put a container under neath and open the little screw in door and see if there is something stuck or hair or any obstruction.
hope this was some help, all the best.

May be the switch is loose try fixing it with ascrew driver or the rubber hose is not fixed properly and the machine pump is taking air or the pump failure

Pump will not stop running

It is difficult to answer the question with so few symptoms. The question would be whether the pump stops when you open the door? If not, then should checked for correct door switch, otherwise I think you need to replace the main board. If you see diagram bellow you can see that the motor is driven by the triac which is probable remain in the open position and constantly power supply motor. Some model has relay which switch between wash motor and drain motor and there is possible that relay stuck and motor also running constantly.

Error code F 9

Hi below is the meaning of the error code and corrective actions needed. To open the door manually take the panel out from under the door and reach up to the door lock mechanism. On the door lock there is a tab, pull the tab and this will release the door. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Mike

you shouldnt be able to open door if there is water in it. sounds like your door interlock has burnt out and probably taken the main printed circuit board with it.

My dishwasher does not fill with water but if you add water as the washer cylces it works fine. What could be the cause of not releasing water into the dishwaher?

Sounds like pump has packed up,switch of electric and unplug open back of machine see if pump drive belt has come off or is damaged its quite a common fault

Beko Freestanding Dishwasher

Hi there ....this condition is ususally caused by a water leak into the sump of the dishwasher which activates a safety switch to run the drain pump..preventing the appliance from being used....Remedy...tip the dishwasher back in the head allowing excess water to exit from the sump...then with the door open check that the air vent lock ring is secure, thet the salt unit retaining ring is secure..and finally that the filter unit to base screws are secure...this done re-start and you should b fine
