I checked with Kodak's pitiful website and it looks like your memory card is too slow. In other words it needs to be able to write at a faster rate to keep up with the camera. Kodak does list the types of memory cards that will work in your camera. I would suggest that you follow their recommendations and buy one of those. The card you have will be fine for pictures but will not work for video.

Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
#2
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
#3
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
#4
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
#5
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
#6
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

My camera won't turn on. The red-light (between play and delete) button blinks when I turn it on. But nothing happens. Any recommendations?

1. Use a fully charged rechargeable battery & remove the memory card.
2. with out memory card if its working then the card is damaged or virus infected. So please format the card and fix it back. Then try to power on your camera with memory card. Formatting memory card

it's just gonna loop if you're using a card more than 1GB. This particular model will only work for 1GB or lower SD/MMC card.

Pushed the Format button on my L100 Samsung Digital camera and my memory card was erased??? Please explain this?

formatting the memory card automatically erases all the files in the memory card.
it's like restoring the memory card to factory settings to be compatible with your camera.

when you format the memory card using the camera the camera erases everything then creates folders that the camera needs to store pictures in your memory card.

you can try to look for software that can TRY to retrieve the images but i cannot assure you that this will work
