How do I start a honda F501 rototiller?

I need to know what settings the choke are to be set at. We do not have a manual.

Make it full choke. Give it a good deal of throttle when you start it. It won't start at idle. Good luck.

Sounds like somthing may have been disturbed when removing the flywheel if the engine revved fine prior to dying on you.

Theres a guy on ebay selling workshop manuals for Honda, see if he has an F501 manual? Heres a link to one of them I got recently
