Question about TalkSwitch TS-400 Phone
We have this brand new fancy phone and know clue how to use it. Our IT person installed it but he is not fimilar with the phone itself. I would like to have someone come out and train me. I am in Anaheim, CA. Also, we have TelePacfic for our phone service and most of there features (Like 6-way conference calling) does not work with our phone.
The Overhead page, I have not yet figured out. We can't even make a simple 3-way conference call. It is very frustating. I have the TalkSwitch Attendant running on my computer, and that is about the only thing I really like, but at this point I do not think we will spend the $399 to purchse it after the 30 day trial, seeing as how the phone is not really allowing us to do what we set out to accomplish.
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

You are using the wrong option for transfer -- the one you are using is a conference which requires the person transferring the call to stay on the line. You need the option which permits a blind transfer or announced transfer. This issue is specifically discussed in the manual.

Log into your TalkSwitch Management Software.
Go to Telephone Lines.
Under each incoming line make sure that Caller ID is checked.
Click File> Save
Hopefully this will fix it for you.

SOURCE: Talkwitch 240VS and TS400 phone
To setup the phone to automatically insert your external dial group (usually '0') before numbers, so you can save them in your phone book, and make calls from your missed / received call logs, you should check the TS400 manual.
For the TS350i you do this 1) press transfer/menu button 2) Press 4 - Call preferences menu 3) Press 8 - Access Code Prefix 4) Enter the number you use for outgoing calls (usually 0) 5) Press OK
