I have heard that you can place your phone in rice, and it absorbs the moisture....
It worked for my husband who ended up in a pool with his phone in his pocket !!

Ahh, same thing happened to mine. Completely ruined my phone. I can say from personal experience that you're going to have to send it back. There's nothing you can do, mate. =[

How to disassemble Samsung Galaxy Rush?

DO NOT use your microwave, no matter WHO tries to convince you to do that.

It can be dried, thoroughly, but it\'ll take a lot of time... and it may not work after it\'s dried out.

Buy a big bag of uncooked dried rice, five pounds or more. Make a slit in the side of the bag, slide your phone into the bag through the slit, and work it into about the middle of the rice in there. Tape the slit shut and put the bag someplace where you\'ll remember the phone is in there. Sharpies make excellent marks on rice bags, by the way.

Now go away for one to two weeks. Live an unplugged life, disconnected from that satellite leash. Learn to talk with real people again, real people with real faces and real voices, people you don\'t have to hold clamped against your cheek to confirm they\'re there. Read a book, play a board game with someone, sit on the front porch and smile at strangers. The ones without phones, I mean. The ones with phones will never notice you - you don\'t exist, you\'re not inside their phone.

After a week or two, open your rice bag again, take out your phone. It\'ll be as dry as it\'s going to get, dryer than it was before it fell in the toilet. The dried rice will have drawn every little bit of moisture right out of it.

Or leave it there, if you like. I\'ll bet you enjoyed life more without it.

How to clean after going in pond

I don't know what kind of computer you are talking about, but if I had a machine that got dumped in a pond, I'd disassemble it and wash all the parts off. This may not do the CD or floppy drive any good, but it won't hurt the motherboard. I'd completely wash the parts and let them dry out. Using warm air to speed the process may help (like a hair dryer set on low).
As long as you are sure everything is completely dry, it's safe to boot it back up. Your CD may even work again as long as there is no mud or yucky stuff in it.

Hi, my phone is an Orange Rio. I dropped it in water earlier today. The sceen is working fine, and whenever I type, different letters than the ones I press come out*. Thank you if you can help :)...

My dear friend, the reason it is that way is because there is still water inside the phone. What you have to do is to disassemble the phone and dry it with a hand dryer. After drying it with a hand dryer, your phone will work perfectly fine once again.
It is just the back cover, battery, sim, then the front cover is what you should open up, then use the hand dryer to dry the phone up, be sure not to expose the screen to the dryer in order not to damage the screen.
That should get your phone working perfectly fine.

How do I clean the front of my sony ericsson Z750a?

Hi there.
My best idea is to use the "pureawesome" flatscreen cleaner. It is used on most computer screens too. Use very little and your S E will be clean again.

My AT&T Sony Ericsson Z750a is asking for a 4-8 digit "Unlock Code" when I insert a different AT&T SIM then came with the phone. The phone itself is "Unlocked" for other providers, but it seems...

your........ ""friend"" has a sim card pin number enabled you can only disable it if you know the pin number.

solution=enter pin number -boot up phone-enter settings and disable

Wet cellular phone

if you used a hair dryer then your lcd screen is shot. the heat dries out the crystals, for the next time this happens to your phone try filling up a bowl of rice and submurging your phone in the rice for about 2 days the rice will soak up the the water, also you can try to but some phone tools and open up the lcd display (your phone's warranty is already voided unless you have insurance) and also put those parts in the rice you should not have tried to power up your phone, but i would give the rice a shot. on a side note.

this is the closest instruction i can find it's for a z525 picture guide

Phone freezes up, restarts randomly, and is very slow.

Hello sg2134,
I too use the Sony Ericson Z750a. If the phone freezes up or it does not respond to the button presses, then switch off the mobile and switch it on again. If the problem persists, you can remove the battery and and the sim and put it back again. Then you will find the mobile to be normal again.

My phone in salt water.

To anyone who drops their phone in salt water. Get the battery out immediately. When you get home or sooner if you can put the phone in something that will allow fresh water to immerse it entirely. Keep water running in the container for about 3 days continually flushing the phone. Now take all of the water out and fill the container with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. Let the phone dry out for at least 2-weeks before trying a fully charged battery in it and turn it on. Should work and you have just saved yourself buying a new one. Then don't leave it in your pocket when you go to the beach, drop it in a Ferry Salt Water Toilet, etc., where it it is immersed in salt water. If it is most cell phone providers will refuse to even look at it from their tech depts. A Radio Tech/Inspector in Canada.
