Can someboady help me with my issue? I have the same issue with the green light blinking every time that I connect the power cable into the outlet. I even unplug the power cable from the outlet for 24hr and I get the same thing when I plung back in the TV power cable, my TV is a Mitsubishi WS-65713. I do not have the service manual but have instructions with pictures.
Will email them to you. If you have never soldered check look for
instructions on utube and with some practice you will be able to

Very common problem caused by failed DM capacitors. You can get the DM repair kit for your model from www.tvrepairworld.com the kit does come with instructions.
These Mits TV's tend to have power supply problems that are well documented on the web, when the symptom is as you describe. And this assumes no other unusual noises were heard before the TV went into shutdown.
The repairs are fairly straight forward if you are comfortable with electro-mechanical dis-assembly, soldering repair, and re-assembly.
Just do a search on Mitsubishi (your model number) and capacitors.
Unplug the unit for 5 minutes then plug it again. Turn it on. If it does not power up, press the SYSTEM RESET button on the front panel with a pointed object such as the point of a pencil or end tip of a paper clip. The green LED light will flash quickly for about a minute then stops. You may turn on the TV then. The changes you made most recently, before using SYSTEM RESET, may be lost. Changes you made previously, however, are not lost.
I just fixed the capacitors on my WS-65713. I can email you instructions with pictures if you wish. You will need to de-solder and solder on new capacitors but if you check out video instructions on utube you should be okay with some practice.
I had the same problem and just fixed it. You likely have 4 bad capacitors in your DM board. To fix you will have to take the DM board out of the TV, de-solder the ones on there and then solder on new capacitors. For those who would like instructions on this leave me your email and I will email them to you. I can't believe I was able to do this but thanks to Jaime for giving me the instructions and checking how to solder on Utube. No I had never soldered before guess it shows you can do it with some effort.
