Alternatively, the factory installed drivers and applications can be
re-installed by using Acer eRecovery by following these steps:
Click Start, and then All Programs
Click Acer, and then Acer eRecovery Management
You may be prompted to enter or create a password. This password will be required to use eRecovery in the future.
In the next window on the left toolbar, select Restore.
Choose Reinstall Drivers or Applications
Choose the driver or application you wish to install
On the right, click the Install link and follow the prompts.
The computer may restart when installation is complete. If it does not restart, manually shutdown and restart the computer.

Hi, You need to Acer eNET Management, the empowering Technology, using Acer eLock Management and Acer eRecovery Management, you must initialise the Empowering Technology password. Right-click on the Empowering Technology toolbar and select "Password Setup" this will enable you to do so. If you have not initialized the Empowering Technology password and run Acer eLock Management or Acer eRecovery Management, you must create it. Acer eNet Management this will assist you to quickly connect to both wired and wireless networks. to access this utility, select "Acer eNet Management" from the Empowering Technology toolbar or run the program from the Acer Empowering Technology program group in Start menu.
I've researched this and it appears simply uninstalling the elock software may resolve it - if this is not a feature you require. Since it is an Acer specific issue you may contact the manufacturer for assistance while it is under warranty.
one thing you can try first, is to disable the elock service from start -> run -> type in services.msc look for elock service right click properties startup type disabled and stop the service, on some elocks this is enought to stop it from working. but it debends I can fix this and I have done it many times now..
