Question about Dell Inspiron 1150 Notebook
Hello i have an inspiron 1150 that i recieved from a woman wanting me to fix it. she told me that it has been dropped several times and now would not turn on. I disassemble it to find that the AC power jack was almost completly off of the motherboard. I then ordered a new piece and resoldered that piece into the motherboard. It will now turn on but the CAPS LOCK key flashes and then it shuts back down not showing any display or anything. I tried hooking it up to an external monitor and still also no display. I also tried reseating the CPU and locking it in but still same thing.
Intermittent power on and off indicates a power supply failure. Check your power supply to make sure if it is working fine.
