My IRiver E150 4 gb blocked.It's says Generating Database.Plase wait... I wait a lot....wt can i do?

Hi, I had the same problem with my Iriver E200. The cause is firmware corruption.

I solved this problem using this method:

1) connect your Iriver device to pc and open the disc of your player;
2) you can see various folders: open the folder named "system";
3) this folder contain a *sys file;
4) open this file using notepad;
5) go to the row "version = ...";
6) you have to modify this row by inserting an older version of firmware. For example if you have "version = 1.11", insert a smaller number, for example 1.07. Save the *.sys file edited. In this way you can force iplus3 to reinstall an uncorrupted version of firmware;
7) now open iplus3, go to Tools -> Portable device -> update firmware. You should be able to reinstall firmware.

My iriver turns on but it keeps saying system initializing please wait... then i wait for 10 minutes and it doesn't do anything

hard drive is probably bad -- common problem. cheapest solution is to buy as-is h10 from ebay with a working hard drive (perhaps it has a touchpad problem), open the unit up and replace the drive.

See this forum for info on how to open the player with a torx tool and a plastic pry unit. forum

Plan b - sell unit on ebay in as-is condition and use money toward a top notch 20gb refurb unit for about $30-50 from sellers like metromania

Adding music

Wait until it is done syncing no matter what the player tells you, and don't send more than 10 songs at a time.

Scan disk clip

dv833 - the songs you are trying to synch are in the wrong format for the Sansa Clip

patty - "Writing" means that it is busy writing files - wait until it's done, and then retry Rhapsody

My Panasonic SV-MP010 writes WAIT when open!

The error is on the device or on the computer? If its the computer, try connecting it without the battery. If the device shows up, try formatting it. Best of Luck.
