Most new model in-dash stereos have an auxiliary mini jack input. Connect a mini-jack cable to the auxiliary jack on your in-dash stereo (available at RadioShack or anywhere there are portable music player/smart phone accessories), and connect the other end to the headphone input on your iPhone/smartphone or player.
Change your stereo input to "aux" or "auxiliary" and Voila! Music will play from your car speakers.
U should have the power wires all connected since u get power on the deck. Make sure the red light on the processor is also on, if this is the case then ensure that BOTH cables running into the back of the deck are properly plugged in, ie: the white one which is close to the corner, as well as the data cable (big black thick). The black one can only go in one way, on mine it seemed upside down 'cos the l shaped plug was pointing upward.
Hey guys I have a xdvd-8181 indash dual radio and the password screen comes up and i forgot the password that i set it up with so i was wondering if there is any way to reset it??? Any help will be appreciated thanks Anthony
there is a wire on the back of the unit marked hook up 2 parking brake....what i did was ran that wire to a toggle switch and to the cigarette lighter ground and mounted the toggle switch on my dash...then all u have 2 do is flip the swith off and on and it tricks the player to thinking the car is in park and will play right away...
