Epson aculaser c1100 will not print from any of 3 computers on network
I get a message "check connections:is printer on:is printer online" I have changed the cable from router to printer, printer is on and online. I am able to print printer status at printer itself. I have reset the router and reloaded the software for the printer. I can connect to the internet via the router on all 3 computers.

How did you add the printer to your computer, try downloading the software for it. If there is any from support.epson.com site. check the port ID of the printer as well from printers and faxes then Epson properties and ports, it should be IP address for ports.
I have had the problem, but it is easily fixed in Vista.
1. Click Control Panel
2 Click Printers
3 Right click your AL-C1100
4 Click Properties
5 Click Optional Settings label
6 Click - "Update printer info manually"
7 Click - "Duplex Print Unit "
8 Click Settings
9 Tick box in bottom left hand corner - "Duplex Print Unit"
10 Click OK .... exit
I also use a Mac, (OSX 10.3.9) does this printer show up in the list when you activate the Printer Setup Utility (PSU) Do you get any error message from the Mac such as Printing Stopped etc. What shows when you click on the PSU after clicking on print etc.
