Hi, My vauxhall zafira CD30: when you insert a cd it says cd error and spits it back out. There are no other CDs in the player that I know of. Any ideas? Cheers, Nick

Is that a CD you bought, or a CD you burned? Not all players are compatible with CDR. It should say so on the player, Compatible with CDR. Then perhaps the CD you tried was damaged or was dirty. Or even the laser of the player could be dirty. Don't open the player. There are CD's with a little brush on it, you can use. It costs a few dollar, but it will keep your player in one piece. 25374412-ptmniwyvtjobac0k42nxowvq-4-0.png

Why won't bose play some cds

Could it be the CDs you can't play, are burned in a PC?
Not all CD players can or will play CD's burned in a PC. Sometimes the CD player is to old, so not compatible with these CDs. Sometimes the player just does not play these CD's, because of rights protection.
A CD burned in a PC is less reflective than an normal music CD. Normal CD's do have a metal coating and are highly reflective. Burned CD's have a dye, and where the laser burned the dye, it only changed colour. Making it less reflective.
All modern CD playes should be capable of playing CD r's. But the player that is really compatible, is labelled CDr and CDrw compatible.

Remote not working on Marantz 63cd. Tried

check the back of your marantz player, some old marantz products have a buttom at the back saying system or intermal, if it is on the system side, the remote will never works.

I would like to hook up my 50 disc CD player to this unit

That should be easy. Not knowing what model 50-disc unit you have I'll assume it has at least one analog Audio Out RCA pair and maybe one or more of the possible digital outputs that correspond to the digital inputs on your CDR.

Simple: compatible Outs on the source go to compatible In's on the recorder. Ta-da!!!

Compatible units

Hi check if your changer connects to the amplifier with a single ribbon cable. if this is the case then the unit is not compatible with anything else.
If it has its own mains cable and a couple of RCA connectors on the rear, then anything should be fine
