The issue with not showing CD track information on your Kenwood C-H7 using the DP-MH5 player could be caused by several factors. To resolve this issue, you can check the following:
Compatibility: Ensure that the DP-MH5 player is compatible with the Kenwood C-H7 unit.
CD format: Ensure that the CD is in the correct format and meets the requirements for playback on the DP-MH5 player.
CD read error: Make sure the CD is clean and free of scratches, as these can cause read errors that prevent track information from being displayed.
Connections: Check the connections between the DP-MH5 player and the Kenwood C-H7 unit to make sure they are secure and properly connected.
Software/firmware: Make sure that both the DP-MH5 player and Kenwood C-H7 unit have the latest software/firmware installed and are up to date.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to seek further assistance from the manufacturer or a professional repair service.
You made need to get a c.d.cleaner,it's a disc and put into player to clean. Also clean the c.d. itself.https://www.amazon.com/s?k=cd+player+head+cleaner&gclid=CjwKCAjwpqCZBhAbEiwAa7pXedkZX0Ii3hGNIwiJH2plw_ifDp2KRI2OLL5O9Wj3d5wE0wP-SJDZMBoClbIQAvD_BwE&hvadid=616863275229&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9011420&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=11559832317325452860&hvtargid=kwd-3285951307&hydadcr=24632_13611814&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_8fgthlymch_e
The Kenwood RC-KB2 is a wireless keyboard that can be used with specific Kenwood multiple compact disc players. The documentation for the keyboard is in the manual for the compatible CD changer/players, including the CD-4900M and DPF-J9030. The current link to the manual for the listed compatible compact disc players is http://manual.kenwood.com/files/B60-4465-08.pdf . See page 14 for the list of the buttons on the keyboard. The rest of the manual has how to control the compact disc player using the 10-key remote or the wireless keyboard.
contact kenwood , provide copy of receipt....or credit card billing or get a dplicate receipt from store somehow as proof of purchase, along with serial number off the unit, and they should be able to help you out. please post back results
If the Kenwood is compatible with USB memory adapter, then you will have an USB port on the front side of the player, just aside the CD slot.
If the stereo is MP3 compatible, that does not mean that the unit is compatible with USB devices. If the Kenwood is MP3 but not USB compatible, you can play MP3 files burning them onto a CD, then playing the MP3 CD in the CD player.
Hi check if your changer connects to the amplifier with a single ribbon cable. if this is the case then the unit is not compatible with anything else.
If it has its own mains cable and a couple of RCA connectors on the rear, then anything should be fine
thanks.i will have a look at down loading the manual.
