Question about GE PDS22SBRLSS Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
Fridge is not cooling but freezer is fine. When I shut off the temp control it clicks, when I turn it back on a motor starts running but it sounds like its chugging.
I assume this is a frost free type with air drive from freezer to fridge to cool fridge.
if so, take back plate off inside freezer and you may find ice build up especially towards the top of the coils. melt off with a hairdryer carefully. the nother thing that may happen is that the return duct for air from the fridge may also become blocked with ice. this is more difficult as it is usually hidden behind the coils and the best bet in this case is to switch off for 24hrs with the door open
