We got a game stuck in the wii consele....We tried ejecting the game as well as turning the game off...nothing is working.

You have to try out all these options first:

Turn the Wii off and on again after about 20 seconds. Press the eject button again.

Unplug the Wii's AC power supply if Step 1 doesn't work. Wait 1 to 2 minutes, and trying to eject the disc again after turning the Wii back on.

Hold down the eject button for 5 to 10 seconds.

Try ejecting the disc with the Wii at different angles. If you hold the Wii upside down, it may help the disc fall out.

Call Nintendo and send the Wii back if non of these steps work. In most cases, a disc stuck in the Wii should be covered by warranty.

Nintendo says to see if power light was coming on, AC adapter reset. unplug from both ends for 90 seconds.Hold eject button for five or 10 seconds.

If none of this works, you might wanna try this, but it is not a preferred method, if you ask me, even though it can be done.

To remove a disc you'll need three sets of tweezers. And possibly a bobby-pin.
First you need to turn the Wii upside down (and preferably unplugged from a power source)
Second, using two sets of tweezers, press the small metal "guards" down. These are located just inside the mouth of the Wii. They're there to keep the disc from free falling, and inhibit their removal. They aren't locked and shouldn't be difficult to press down.
Third, you'll need to reach "up" through the middle of the mouth with the third set of tweezers to grab hold of the disc. I'd highly recommend using flat tweezers, not sharp ones as the disc may become scratched.
NOTE: The disc itself rests on the internal carriage (through the center hole of the disc) and if upside down, should fall into your tweezer's grasp easily. If it doesn't then you need a bobby pin to dislodge. Gently press the bobby pin on top of the disc and then grip the disc with the tweezers.
Finally, gently pull and the disc and push on the bobby pin and the disc will slide out easily .

This can be done with one person, but helps if you have an extra hand.
Good luck.

We put a bluray disc in the PS3 and the disc is stuck and the console will not eject the disc and will not stay on. We have tried holding down the power button, holding down the eject button and nothing...

switch off power at the back. hold down eject button, keep holding, turn power button at the back to on. console fan will spin very fast ( at this time take your finger off the eject) then goes back to normal. try now to hold eject button for more than 9 sec; it will then eject your disc. if this dont help check this site: http://www.edepot.com/playstation3.html#PS3_Model_Differences
PS: most likely, you already have a problem with your Blu Ray laser (life span expired) or hopefully you will need to just re-allign your CD drive mechanics. dont open your console if you still covered with sony waranty. otherwise; give it a try; many youtube videos will show you how to do that.
Good luck

Dont use the switch when your game is saving or anything is downloading because you could corrupt the saved game/download (I don't think it'll let you turn it off from the front button when it's writing to the hard drive- the switch in the back actually cuts off the power.).

Take care.

The red light keeps blinking and won't eject disc

You have the dreadful blinking red light of death. Long story short the system is broken and you have a few options:
  1. send the system to sony and receive a refurbished system for $150.
  2. find a local to do it for much cheaper
  3. watch vids on the web (youtube.com) and fix it yourself but it is fairly difficult.
  4. buy a new ps3.
I hope I have helped and feel free to ask me any questions and let me know how it goes.

I got a PS3 from a friend who Told me if I could fix it I could keep it. The Initial problem was that it was not getting any power. I fixed that problem with a new power supply. It now turns on, all the...

looks like they took the drive apart when a disc was inserted and put the drive back together in disc in mode

there are 2 little white pedals that pop up when its in "disc in" mode the only way to fix it is to take the drive apart and manually move it to "disc ejected" mode

to do that, when the drive is apart you have to take of the little peice with the cd guide wheels then open the wheels and you will see a gap in the middle of where the little metal bars open up and the little white pedals fit through then just hit eject and they should lower now. put the drive back together and test it b4 you put the whole system back together.

PS3 not turning on

The only way you would be able to get your disc is to open up your PS3. I advise you not to if your warranty is intact. If not, unscrew 1 bolt from left side with torx bit. Slide panel to the left. Unscrew 7 more bolts on top along sides and corners. Open from back like a book. Unplug the ribbon of the BD drive by flipping the tab connecting to the motherboard. Unplug the smaller plug from the bottom left of the BD drive. You should be able to figure out how to open the BD drive from there.

Or, another way is, you can just remove your BD drive, and connect it to your friend's PS3 and hit EJECT.

Disc won't eject & stops working

your disc tray is jamming on an intermittent fault and when it does work it is recording each time the eject botton is being pressed so when your watching movies or playing games it tries to eject the disc tray and causes an automatic shutdown it will definately neet proffesionally repaired and should cost about 30-40 pounds and get a guarantee with it bacause these faults can come back to haunt you.

Disc tray

Need more info than that. Does the light in the center of the power button flash like it is trying to open? Does it make any noise? Does absolutely nothing happen? This can a problem from small to large. It could just be a bad switch or connection, or the drive may need to be replaced.
