Buzzing in audio

It sounds like there is power interference on the audio wire. To be sure try plugging in a headset mic and see if audio noise goes away. That will isolate it to your webcam, and if the wire in it has interference you'll probably have to get a new one as the cost of repair would exceed the cost of a new webcam. You can try the free webcam test tool to try different mic combinations and see how the audio sounds.

Microsoft Lifecam - Broken up picture when using the webcam

The problem was being caused by the wireless USB adaptor. When I disconnected the adaptor the webcam picture came good. I plugged the adaptor into a different USB port on the machine and no interference. I don't have any explanation for why on one USB port I get the interference and on another I don't get any interference. I am happy to live with it like it is if it works.

Microsoft lifecam VX-1000 picks up buzzing noise

Try using a headset and the buzzing should go away. If you are hearing them through your speakers then the mike could be giving you feedback. Also try turning down the volume a bit and see how that works.
Hope this is of some help. Bud

Interferance with sound

Normal 0 If the people you are talking to have speakers they hear you and you will get feed back of your voice. Have them turn down the speaker level or better yet use a headset and this will no longer be a problem.
Hope this helps. Bud

Microsoft webcam VX 6000. Buzz on video capture

I took the cam apart, removed the mic from its seat and gently separated the red and black wires - ran the red one over top the lens and the black one underneath. Replaced the mic, screwed it all back together and the problem is gone. For now. One tip is to record sound using Windows Sound Recorder while you're doing this, watch the input line and when it goes flat you know the buzz is gone. While it buzzez, the line will be active.
