Question about Audio Players & Recorders
KVH L2 is mounting on a motor coach - worked fine 2 weeks ago - now will not find satellites ... symptoms follow;
With RCA receiver with low speed data port ... initializes and then give me a "ELMOTOR ERROR" - never finds a satellite + Elevation motor is moving dish between both limits with no obvious problems ...
With DirecTV receiver ... will not accept a "Restore to Factory Defaults" action (Sat Select + Power on), Power on gives 1 bright flash then 4 short dim, then 1 bright, then 5 short dim flashes -- cycles thru this 3 times then goes to sleep - never finds a satellite ...

My monitor (SN517A1108SC1246) has same power on problem issue. This particular monitor was 'repaired' three times by Sceptre all within 4 months starting when 11 months old. The problem seems to occur when the monitor looses AC power completely so I've got mine on an UPS. The "reset" fix by MikeCharlie does work to get it back working. Key is timing, plugging in the power cord then monitor cable just after LED blinks. Tricky but can be done.
I do have another Sceptre X20 (SN505A1108SC2638) on same computer that although a year older, has not had any problems!

I had the same issue. This is what Sirius calls a "Frozen Unit". There is no bypass, unfortunately, and it must be returned.
I had mine for 3 days and it froze on the Sirius Logo screen when booting up. If you bought the unit from Sirius, you must contact their E-Commerce department. If bought from a retailer, take it back to the store.
