Paypal payment I paid for a purchase through paypal on ebay this week. I received a message from the seller saying it went through but is not showing in her account. I also have my email receipt showing that is was paid. Do you know what the problem is?

I payed for an item on ebay payment paypal. The item was cancelled by ebay who informed me seller had put back money into my account from where I payed.


Which account?
Did you have a "positive" balance in your PayPal account?
If so, PayPal will refund your payment back to that account.

If you did not have a balance, PayPal charged your credit-card when you paid. PayPal will "reverse" the charge. Go online to your bank, and check "recent credit-card transactions", to see the original charge, and the "reversal".

Depending on whether or not the seller uses eBay checkout, the steps to complete payment are different. If your seller does not use eBay checkout, they will send you an invoice or other payment instructions to help you complete your purchase.

To pay for an item when the seller uses eBay checkout:

1. Link your PayPal and eBay accounts, if you haven't already done so.

2. After you've won an item, click the Pay Now button. You can find this button in the listing, in the Purchase History section of My eBay, and in the confirmation email that you receive from us.

3. Check your shipping address. If any information is incorrect, click the Change shipping address link to update it. (The seller may require a credit card billing address registered with PayPal, sometimes called a confirmed address.)

4. Confirm the order details, including shipping and taxes. Click the Continue button. (If you have questions about the total cost, click the Request total from seller link.)

5. Select PayPal as the payment method.

6. Enter your PayPal log in information. If you don't already have a PayPal account, you can sign up.

7. Make sure that your shipping details, payment method, and order details are correct.

8. Click the Confirm Your Payment button to complete your purchase.


To link your PayPal and eBay accounts:

1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the "PayPal Account" link on the left side of the page.

4. Click the Link My PayPal Account button.

5. You'll be asked to log into PayPal to finish linking your accounts.

Purchused the series Windfall on March 31 the seller said it would be here in 2 weeks. I am still waiting. Sellers name is Jeffrey Thomas. email address rockgod316@hotmail.com


If you purchased the product and its been 2 weeks now and you were not able to received it you may file dispute with paypal for non receipt of the item. And in doing that PayPal would hold the payment and informed the seller to shipped the item and provide proof of purchase before having the payment credited again to his account. Or if you want you may contact the seller directly by sending email or contacting him by phone.

You must consult the person or company you purchased the merchandise from and explain to them that it isnt there, and they should sort that for you.

I sent money to the wrong email address, but the payment is completed. What do I do? Question : Answer : PayPal cannot reverse payments that have been claimed. I just used PayPal to pay for a item . I realized after ,that i already paid for that item .I paid the first time with PayPal also.


You will need to contact Paypal Customer service. They will be able to give you the proper steps to receive a refund for your second payment. Does the second payment show on your account as being collected by the seller of the item purchased. If so you might be able to contact the seller and have them refund the amount, if not Paypal will be able to collect the refund for you.

First, you should contact the seller and tell them you have not received the product. If they do not respond or do not help, then you can contact PAYPAL and "Report a Dispute".

On 30/10 I purchased two dolls from kcivram1823, paypal made payment thru my credit card, seller advises me that the money has not been entered into her paypal a/c. Transaction I>D> OV6519927X143213V...


If you honestly paid and money is missing from your credit card then she had to of received your payment. If you overpaid for the item then get her Paypal email address and send her the $15.00 back through the "Send Money" link..Just select "Gift" as the reason for a payment. You can also open a dispute if she never sends you the dolls after 15 days have passed to get all of your money returned to you. I see you have a transaction ID so Paypal will have record of payment so there is no way she could lie to you about not getting payment

Paypal is great to work with. I've been screwed over by a couple of sellers and Paypal was able to recover my money promptly. You just need to get in touch with them and talk it over.
