Question about Lexmark C524 Laser Printer
Print outs have blue vertical lines interspersed down the left side of the page about 2mm and 2cm from the edge. Both the toner cartridge and the photoconductor unit are new.
This problem is 99% of the time the photoconductor. Try removing and reseating. If this does not work, try another one. Even though you state that you just replaced it, on rare occasions, defective ones get shipped out. Usually the manufacture will replace the defective unit for you when this happens. Also make sure that the locking tab that holds the developer in place did not crack and therefore loose. I have seen this many times where the clip that holds the developer is damaged.
