Re: how the heck do i connect w580 to pc
Once you have connected the usb cable and the phone is on , you will see file transfer at this time you can select this file once the phone is in transfer mode you can do nothing and PLS do not disconnect the phone at this time it could damaged the phone.....
The computer will now try and install the drivers necessary to read the phone if you are using XP the pc will find them if you are using VISTA then you may need to update the driver online at the sony ericsson website.

Not enough information. The transferring of files requires a sequence of functions to happen before the pictures will transfer to the computer. You will need the camera software installed on the computer. The camera sequence for transfer and each camera is different, some just need you to turn the camera on after connecting the USB cable while others require you press the "Playback" button to transfer files. Depending on the camera software installed on a computer they "normally" download to a file folder then the pictures can be opened in the software programing.
Download first a PC Suite software in your computer. This software will let you access the system of your phone. In this software you can transfer files, videos, audios to your phone from computer and vice-versa.
this is a common problem with the config files. to correct you must:
1. with player powered off hold menu button and connect to PC 2. hold menu button until a blue screen appears 3. windows should find your device and think it's a USB mass storage device 4. when Auto play asks you what you would like to do, select "Open folder to view files. 5. Find the "CONFIG" folder on the device, and delete everything in it. 6. disconnect, and then reconnect your device....
before you connect cell to pc. change the (cell) connection settings to either usb/bluetooth. now connect.
go to my computer and you cell icon or harddrive should have appeared. and you be able to continue using studio 3.
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.
Hi, u should install the software provided in the LG CD itself. Once installed. activate the software pc suite. and also connect your LG phone via usb cable. if it's a fairly old pc some motherboards cannot supply enough power to the usb port to power the ipod especially if it's not USB2.0.
Try other USB ports and leave other USB peripherals out so as to allow more voltage to the port you are using.
Failing that you will need to purchase a mains powered USB hub, which should connect to the ipod no problem.
