I need to install my lexmark x7170 all in one but i lost my install disk what can i do.

Try to contact Lexmark technical support for assistance with the install disc. You can also download the Lexmark X7170 driver from the Lexmark website. Click on this link: Lexmark X7170 Drivers.

Download the correct driver, execute the file and follow the instructions in the software. If your computer will look for the Lexmark OCR scan software when you try scanning, you will be needing the printer installation disk. Does it find it when you plug up the printer? It should find it but maybe not find a driver. Then it should look for a driver on the internert. Go to control panel add a device and let it find it.

Probably, but the latest driver for your model is best downloaded from Lexmark support. Lexmark admits the lastest driver is probably not on the CD anyway!
