Near the left edge of the screen there seems to be a vertical line missing. It is only about fraction of an inch, but you can see were the picture doesn't match up. It is as if someone cut out a strip and pushed the two sides together.

Vertical lines on screen kinda pixelated

Just check this link. You can see similar type of fault to LCD TVs. Compare them to that of your TVs and make sure. It sounds that the LVDS cable has loose contact with its connection sockets. Re-seat it once, and check.http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timeslide option.

Thin red line across screen two inches for the top. Picture above line is good, picture below line has no color and double image.

Hello,

IF YOU HAVE A SOLID BLACK LINE RUNNING VERTICALLY THEN YOU HAVE A FAULTY MATRIX INVERTER. IF CENTRAL THE MAIN VERTICAL INVERTER NEEDS CHANGED. LEFT = LEFT VERTICAL INVERTER RIGHT=RIGHT.........

ANOTHER WAY TO GET THIS FAULT IS WORN OR DAMAGED RIBBON/PLASTIC GOING FROM THE SCREEN MATRIX TO THE INVERTER

Hope this will help out.....

Vertical white line near the left end of the screen.

Usually when there are colored lines on the LCD its because the screen is going bad. Quick way to verify this, try a different monitor on your computer and if the line goes away then you know for sure the monitor is bad.

If you try a different monitor and the line remains then you know that the video card is bad.

Sound but no picture

A white like across the screen means that the vertical circuit has stopped working. Look for a small fuse that looks like a resistor near the vertical output IC, replace that fuse if open and resolder the pins on the vertical output IC.
