Please be more specific abt ur issue? wat exactly are u trying to exit? ur INTERNET BROWSER or INTERNET CONNECTION itself? if u face the issue while ur trying to close the web browser then i would really recommend u to re - install it again. Say if ur using IE 7 then u can download it again from or us using Mozilla then u can install it again but hey dont forget to UNINSTALL it completely because installing the browser again on the previous version will not mak ne changes.
IF the problem is not with ur web browser then i would request u to tell me more descriptively that wat exactly is the issue with.because if the erro is asking u to resolve or restart then it must have mentioned the problem also, if u could make a not of that then ill research for that error.

try to go to your uninstaller in control panel and try to uninstall IDM, then restart your pc, try again to download something and it should work now. It only means that your idm got an error, re-installing idm will work after uninstalling it and restarting the pc.

Hi, I am using IBM E74 black color monitor. Frequently Monitor settings menu keeps popping up. This popup will remain on the screen even after pressing the Exit button on the monitor. Please let me...

if the monitor setting menu is from the Operating System (windows xp the like ...)
then this can be that your system is not that clean, try some clean up program
(like ccleaner from and also run antivirus full scan of your system
might helps. Try, there u can find many tools or antivirus to download.

If the popout is from the monitor it self. then you might try to check the cables
connecting the your monitor to CPU also the power cord. sometime lack of power
can badly affect the monitor or even damage it.

Hope that helps.

When i click on an email to make it full screen I get a strange message asking me to clear my cache or some other weird message. It never happened before and now it happens every time. I can only view my...

It's clear that you have to clear the Cache and the other weird message might be something like cookies etc... Could you please tell me the name of the Internet Browser you are using? Since you didn't mention the browser, I have to assume myself it as Internet Explorer. First close the internet explorer (without closing the internet browser, it's not important to do this, the cache files that are being used will not be cleared and you'll not see the effect). Open the Control Panel, and again open the "Internet Options", on the "General" tab, click "Settings" beside the "Delete" in the "Browsing History" field, another dialog box will pop up, check the "Disk Space to use......" and increase the value if it's less than 500 (you can increase it upto 1GB). After it's done, click and return to the "Internet Options" dialog box, now click the "Delete" button just beside the "Settings" below the "Browsing History", another pop will come up, from there, verify that the first four options are selected/checked and click "Delete", confirm if you are, wait for few seconds until the delete is completed, and exit the "Internet Options". Now open the browser and work with your emails. It should work fine.

If your internet browser isn't Internet Explorer, you have to delete the cache/cookies/temp files from the "Tools" menu i.e. in Firefox: Tools > Advanced > Network > Clear Now, and in GoogleChrome, Tools > Under the Hood > Clear Browsing Data. You may be asked to close the respective browsers, do so or it may automatically do it for you with another confirmation.
After you are done, Restart your computer and try again. There are also several Tools/Programs to clear these things, if you can't do it as mentioned above, let me know so that I can give you the link where you can download the tools.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How do i install freedom on my pc. When i click on internet explorer to connect to the internet i get a message come up saying ''freedom encountered an error and must be restarted'' important if you do not...

Either go ctrl + alt + delete, go to processes, find the freedom program and shut if down, or go to bottom right of main screen where the icons are, find freedom, right click, and select exit so the program exits itself.

I use windows defender. It is the best free top of the line firewall and is most up to date.

The Contrast screen pops on all the time

It looks like your UP button contact is demaged.
SOLUTION is to insert a piece from your business card mostly above the button to adjust it down or up. It works fine.
