It could be saying this because either they closed the match or there were the max players in it.

Every time i invite or friends try to join it says unable to join or game session is no longer available and i have my party privacy open

Black Ops is very finnicky about their matchmaking servers. First you need to make sure that your router is set to an open NAT type. Type 3 is kind of restricted, but will let you join most games. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Error creating session. wind i go online or multiplayer willnt read or go online

Hi,
Hopefully this will help solve your problem:
1. Press and hold down the power button located at the front of the PS3 console, until you hear a first beep, then eventually a second – before the console shuts down, then let go of the button;
2. Now press and hold the button again until you hear a first beep, then a second beep then eventually a quick double-beep, then let go of the button;
3. The TV screen should now display a six option menu, where you can select what’s required, i.e. `Restart System`, `Restore System` etc. `Reset System` should only be used after other attempts with the other options, as your game saved data may be lost. If you play Modern Warfare 2 online, then this won’t be affected as your data is saved on the Sony Server.
4. During any of the above actions, your best having your handset controller connected to the PS3 via the USB cord, which includes pressing the `P` button when required (located between `Start` and `Select`).
These actions should help solve `freeze` problems and others such as update errors etc – which restrict you starting up or playing your console.
Don’t hesitate to contact Sony UK if required, who are very helpful. Their UK number is: 0844 7360595

Good Luck!

Invit a friand in modern warfare

The problem is most likely your friend is not accepting, the 'MW2' invites are different to previous COD's, they are sent as a message, rather than in game pop-up.

When i am in the main lobby i send a invite but my friend is saying that the game session is no longer availible. We have tried restarting the Ps3 and it still doesnt work. Why wont it let us join?

Hello,

I have experienced this several times and although it does not work every time it has improved since the first day.
There will be released several patches for the online bugs.

Meanwhile you can try this to see if it works for you:

1. When you friend sends you invite, click the middle button on your remote which takes you to playstation menu screen.
2. Go to account management and click TRIANGLE
3. Sign off then sign back ON
4. Then go to your inbox or invite menu
5. Find your friend's invite and click join game.

Hope this helped.

Can't play madden 09 online on ps3

Greetings,

from the opening menu choose online and then either play now, or goto lobby. If you goto lobby choose lobby, (for starters pick my skill level) and then you can click on someones name and invite to a game, or if the invite you it will say so on the scrolling info bar at the bottom of the screen, thier name will also have a lightning bolt next to it if they invited you. click on them accept invite and try and win. my ID is dannmidge on the ps3 if you want to add me and we can play.

you need to reset. to do that you will need to back out to the main menu then go back to multiplayer and restart you party. Don't ask me why this works, it just does. there are many little gremlins in this game like that. If anyone has trouble getting in to your party tell them to do the same. And add me....
