My Game wont play.

Hi,
i assume when you say Shaved down, you mean resurfaced or scratches removed.
i,d suggest they did,nt do a very good job of resurfacing the disk, or the damage is still there.
the console can,t read all the data from the disk, and will therefore lockup or black screen.

this usually happens to bad/damaged/dirty game disks. try cleaning the disks. if that doesn't work, contact microsoft via xbox.com/support.

Xbox 360 Game Disk will load but not Play

This happens when the laser has blown or at the end of its lifespan, replacement lasers will fix this problem or if its possible maybe a re-alignment would also make it work again. Replacing the part is very easy and yoou can find the lasers on ebay for around £15. If you get stuck and need help we offer a full repair service www.fixmyconsole.co.uk
