Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

1 Answer

Office 2007excel I would appreciate some help please. I am using XP Pro, and I have gone to Office 2007 Package, with Word And Excel. My last Excel 2002 had the date option I used, of "10-Oct-08" nice and short length. It is missing in the new Office 2007 Excel! Please advise me as to how I can get it as a button function, for the later version, I need it due to its short colum width to be able to print more. Thank you. John Willetts john_willetts.co.nz

Excel 2003 worksheet slow in 2007

Hi Lee, I have recently experienced the same thing. When Excel 2007 or later opens an Excel 97-2003 .xls file, there are major issues of speed. The file is opened in compatibility mode. The best thing to do would be to open the file, then save as (keep the same name if you like) an Excel 2007 .xlsx document (or .xlsm document if there are macros). Close the file, then reopen it, and the compatibility mode issue will be gone. You can now use the newly saved file as a normal Excel 2007 file. Hope this helped.

I want to download excel 2007

Hi

As already stated, full, genuine licenced versions of Microsoft Products cannot usually be downloaded.

It is, however generally possible to download Free 60 day Trial versions of some MS Office products.

Microsoft no longer offer and have withdrawn Free Downloads for MS Office 2007 Trial Products. All their efforts are now focused on marketing and support for MS Office 2010.

Microsoft often does this after a new product has been launched.

If you are determined to use MS Office 2007, then you will have to purchase a licensed copy of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon (www.amazon.com).

Online offers of Free Downloads of MS Office 2007 products are probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or are masquerading non-existent MS Office 2007 products as camouflague for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software, products or services.

Even if you do succeed in finding a genuine download site for MS Office 2007 products AND manage to complete a successful, uncorrupted download, you will still have to purchase a separate, genuine, unused Licence for the product before you can successfully install it, use it with confidence, register it, activate it and download and benefit from Updates and Security Patches for it from Microsoft.

Go to: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

Download MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial (which includes Excel 2010 60 Day Trial ) and install it, carefully following each step.

If you do not want to buy or cannot afford a full, licensed copy of MS Office Excel 2010 or MS Office 2010 Pro, and/or prefer to pursue the downloading option, consider the latest version of a genuine, comparable free program -

Open Office - downloadable from:

www.openoffice.org

You can use Open Office simultaneously with MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office Pro 2010 60 Day Trial.

If you delete MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial, well before the 60 day expirty date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and restarting before downloading and installing, it is usually possible to enter into a further 60 Day trial period.

I hope this helps.

My files from ms word 2007 won't work on other PC using xp operating system

It may be just that they have an older version of MS Office, try downloading and installing the Microsoft office compatibility package, its free

If the url doesn't work just google
Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack.

If that doesn't work, don't pay MS anymore money. Go to Filehippo.com download and install "Open Office" its also free and you can read and write MS office compatible docs.

HELP PLEASE !!!!!!! Sage Version 8 - Instant Accounts

I haven't heard of this. If there is a way to extract history, and put it into something like Excel, that would likely be best - especially if their support isn't helping. Then upgrade to a relatively inexpensive, but more widely used and supported program (e.g. Quickbooks, Quicken, MS Accounting, depending on your needs). If you can get the history to Excel, many times you could import that into a new program. Thanks for rating FixYa!
