I lost my cord for a viking sewing machine and I just went to a dealer, they had to order it. It was about $35. but worth it. Any retailer of that type of machine should be able to order it for you. goood luck. ;-)

I'd suggest finding a site specializing in Brother Sewing Machines and order one through them. Google, Yahoo, Bing, all good search engines.

When I use the presser foot nothing happens. The machine is plugged in, turned on and everything is set up correctly. I was told my a not so reliable source that the motor may be shot. But, the machine...

even though it's only used moderately the motor can go out,
does the light come on?
try plugging the sewing machine into a different outlet
check to make sure the power cord is pushed all the way in
it also may be the power cord itself that has gone out
it could also be the on & off switch

Electrical Cord for sewing machine

This is not one I am familiar with and may have been made under licence by one of the major manufacturers and share a common power cable fitting with a major brand....I suggest you take a photo of the power inlet and contact some sewing service centres in your district and ask if they can help with a second hand item.

If you are in the USA, this site may prove helpful..........and the link to their Instruction Manual for this model.

There is two seperate cords on this machine. A power cord and a pedal cord. If you put the power cord in and switch the machine on, and then remove the pedal cord it should give you a beeping sound, which shows you the connection does work.

Please give me feedback in order to help you
