SOURCE: My Laptop does not turn on.

That orange light is usually an indication that the battery is not working properly. If you turn the computer on and take the battery out and put it back in it the yellow light might turn off. There is another indication that you have something in the power settings that might need to be set properly. Check in the control panel>power settings and see if the battery and power settings are okay. Also, sometimes the mute on the volume might be on. Lastly, I had a laptop that never turned on and when the hardrive was taken out and the power was turned on it still did nothing until it was turned off and the harddrive was put back in then turned on again.

SOURCE: Asus w3j orange led battery light keeps flashing,

This seems to be a issue with the AC adapter. Its not driving enough power to the laptop and neither charging the laptops battery. Try using a different adapter.

If the problem still exists, Then its to do with the internal power supply setup inside the laptop and probably you need to rip the laptop apart and check the power chipset.

SOURCE: AC Adapter is beeping

the best would be ebay. type in your model number and you should find a compatible version. i dont recommend the universals, they dont show up on certain computers correctly such as dells. most charges retail on ebay for about 16 bucks. if you want it fast. get it overnighted. still will be cheaper than anything you buy in the store..

heres a link

SOURCE: Asus G73 won't Turn on. The power button gets no

1. Take the battery out of the laptop & try to turn on the laptop using power adapter only. If the computer turns on, then the battery is defective & needs to be replaced.
2. Make sure the power adapter is not defective. Test the output voltage of the power adapter using a voltmeter. Compare the voltmeter reading to the nominal value written on the adapter or the laptop.
3. Make sure the DC jack is not loose or broken. A loose DC jack will need to be re-soldered. A broken one will need to be replaced.
4. If you have another processor which is compatible with your laptop's model, try swapping processors & test to see if the laptop will work.
5. The power button could be bad.
6. The motherboard could be defective & needs to be replaced.

Asus wont turn on

For this kind of issue, please follow up the following steps to check:

1.confirm the battery and ac adapter connect the laptop normally.Maybe the bad connect lead to this problem. If there are no lights when you turn on laptop, one of possible reason is that your adapter is malfunction.

2.the second possible cause is laptop dc jack failure. If the dc jack is broken or loose, you are required to replace it or repair it.

3.Another possible reason is that there is something wrong with laptop motherboard. For this situation, it includs two kinds of possibility,a failure in an electronic circuit and BGA malfunction.

For more detailed reasons and solutions, please have a look at the following article:http://www.ifitjams.com/lappower.htm

If you verify your laptop adapter is dead and you plan to order a new one, I recommend one for you on the basis of your laptop model:

No power

Hello, If the battery won't charge and the laptop won't turn on but the ac adapter works with other laptops, then the problem is the port where you plugin the ac adapter. Some of the laptops has it built in to the motherboard. So you might need to have it repaired by a technician. Or if the laptop is still in warranty, you might need to send it to the manufacturer to have it repaired or replaced. But if the laptop works without the battery, or it will turn on but the battery indicator is not lighting up, you're facing one of these problems. 1. The battery itself is dead. 2. the battery bay is loose 3. the battery itself is loose Hope this helps

MY ASUS F5VL MOTHERBOARD WON'T TURN ON???

Here below are possible causes and troubleshooting steps of laptop that can't power on, hope it may help:

Possible causes:
AC adapter failure.
Power jack failure.
Motherboard failure.

Possible troubleshooting steps and repair solutions:
Test the AC adapter with a digital multimeter. It's possible that you have a failed AC adapter. If you don't have a multimeter, test your laptop with another known good AC adapter.

It's possible that power jack (socket where you plug the AC adapter) is broken. Remove the motherboard and take a closer look at the power jack. In some cases you can fix the jack by resoldering it on the motherboard. In other cases you have to replace the jack with a new one. Using a multimeter, test if the power goes to the motherboard through the jack.

If replacing the AC power adapter and jack on the motherboard doesn't help, most likely you have a bad motherboard. Replace the motherboard.

My ASUS P4T533-C won't turn on

This is really a common problem with computers these days. It may be caused by a number of reasons like a faulty charging system, faulty battery or anything burned out on the computer's system board. But in this scenario, i would suggest the following
1. Remove the battery and connect the laptop with the AC adapter only and see if it will respond.
2. Remove the AC and re-connect the battery and try to turn it on
3. If the above two do not work, then consider changing the AC adapter for your laptop. You can try to use a different AC adapter that has the same rating as your laptop's. The problem might be with the Charger.
4. But if all this does'nt work, consider getting a Computer Technician who can open up your computer and check the circuit board, there might be a problem with one of the chips

My asus notebook won't charge i just bought last five days ago, and now it won't charge.. i tried to remove the battery and attach the adapter, but it still doesn't open..

if it wont charge it most likely has a bad battery...if you just bought it, I would suggest returning it for a replacement. Make the vendor or manufacturer make good on their product.
