I bought a bush dab radio ne-3125, was advertised as a clock/radio,is this right or is it just a radio ?

I had the same problem - alarm going off at midnight. Hold down the Menu and Select buttons at the same time to reset the radio. This removes the alarm. It will rescan and find all digital stations again but you will lose any presets.

I recently moved my Legato Pure radio, now I have trouble tuning in the DAB radio and the display struggles to set the clock often flashing with a message saying it is wating for time to set. When it does...

Clearly, the DAB signal strength is poorer in the new radio position. Try moving it, even a foot or two can make a difference. Better still, use a roof aerial.
The display can be changed, even in standby mode - press the Display button to see the 3 options.

Got a wharfedale NE-3272 DAB/CD Micro system,had it about four months now for my birthday.On friday(about three days ago)it started for no reason to switch itself to stand-by after about three seconds...

I had a similar problem with my wharfedale NE-3272 DAB/CD. Argos replaced it. Now the new one switches itself off when I switch to cd. I think it's one of those that look the part but are really just poorly made tat.

Standby mode

There are three modes — standby mode, radio mode or CD mode. To enter CD mode, press the power button and then the CD button. To enter radio mode, press the power button and then the radio button. To enter standby mode, press the power button.
If you're in standby mode and press the time set button, the clock digits will blink. If they don't blink, you aren't in standby mode.

Wharpdale NE-3272 CD/DAB Micro System - This is brand new and switches its self off. Hiw can I get it to continue to play all day?

Need to clean and resoldering works.Cold solder issues - each component is soldered into small holes on the printed circuit board which in turn connects said component to the other components. Due to time, heat, use, some solder joints would be cracked or loose. It is possible that the cold solder is still minimally connected (hanging by a thread). When the receiver turns on heat would be generated which would be sufficient to further loosen up the solder joint to the point it no longer provides electrical contact. Jarring the unit creates movement inside enough to re establish the contact, sometime good enough sometimes not enough.

Again, since the unit still operates (sometimes) then it is highly probable that there are no defective components. As you have surmised, it is possibly a loose connection, solder joints are "connections" except that molten soldering lead is used to attach/connect the component to the board, "loose connection" in this sense is equal to "cold solder".

Again on the assumption of no defective parts, then seeking a more experienced buddy for the soldering might be to your advantage. This is of course in addition to the possible electrical hazards when repairing....If i have helped,please click to rate.It is the only way i get paid for my work...

hope this may help;
