How do i replace hard drive on my acer veriton 3600gt

Depending on the hard drive, it may need to be 'initialized' before the computer can recognize it. This is best done by putting the hard drive in a working computer and going to, if using Windows, right-click My Computer, select Manage and clicking Disc Management where you will see the uninitialized drive.
You will need to create a partition and format it. Then your Acer should see it.
If you don't have a second computer then you will need to insert an operating installation disc in the drive and have that operating system's software format the disc.

Unable to delete data or format or partitioning samsung HDD

Have you tried booting from a Windows XP CD? If you have one available you can boot from it, delete the partition and format it. Works all the time for me.

SATA Hard drive caddy not acknowledged

Yes, what it seems to me is that you have alot of devices connected and windows by default trie to give the same device the same letter every time you connect it. Well if something else takes its place and you try and connect it, it tried to give it that letter but cant and kind of sits in limbo in the device manager.

Try the following.

Right click " My Computer" and select " MANAGE"

Then when that opens, select the " Disk management" on the left side of the sectioned window.

On the right it should populate your drives including the one that you said isnt showing.

See what letter it is assigned. You can change the drive letter by selecting the drive on the right side, right click and change drive letter to somehting that you know isnt being used like " Z " .

Confirme, or O.K. it and then if all goes well, it should auto detect and it should show under my computer.

This often happens with windows when there is alot of similar devices connected. Windows can only handle up to 32 devices being connected at one time and soem times it holds onto a drive letter for another device and cant give it out to another. often devices such as External hard drives will also try to reclaim the same drive letter and will fight over it. Windows bassically just ignores it since it already gave out the letter to another device and you have to specify it another one.

Let me know if this works or if you need more help.

2nd HDD

Check Computer Management / Disk Management. Windows on Windows XP, Probably the Drive needs formatting first and partitioning before it will visible on My Computer. By Default the new Hard Drive is "Unpartitioned / Unallocated". So acess disk Management to format and partition the Hard Drive.

To access the computer management and disk management and create and partition under disk management, Check Videos for guide :

I have 3 Hard Disk Drives and my C one is full and the other two are not how do i mack them all one Hard Disk Drives?

"mack them all one Hard Disk Drive"? do you mean make them into one Hard disk drive?

if you have 3 "physical" Hard Disk Drives, im sorry but thats not possible

but if the 3 Hard Disk Drives are only partitioned you could use any partition manager software like Partition Magic or Acronis Disc Director suite to combine the 3 Hard disk partition into one...

hope this helps
