Incorrect on removal of the nose. You can remove the drivers side grill and reach the emblem nut. Just changed mine 1 week ago.

How to replace corolla 2013 front emblem sign

Toyota attaches their emblems in two ways:
1. By 2 sided tape
2. By prongs
If it is tape carefully remove the emblem with an exacto knife. You can purchase thin 2 way tape from your local hardware store. It is a little thicket than scotch tape. Carefully scrape off the tape from the back of the emblem, apply the new tape and press firmly.
Caution: do not try to take tape off car... you will scratch the paint.
If it is the prongs, gently pry off the emblem with a screw driver. It will snap back on.
Good luck. Hope this helped.

generic? the whole deal.
1: gain access to back and remove screws there. (even under fender)
2: on some cars the front nose of car bezel must be removed
gaining true access to lamp housings, and the screws.
disconnect the socket wire (or replace bulb now)
and then the housing screws. bingo its free.
some cars, the hood opens
and there is a plate that extends L/R across front of car.
remove top plate and bingo , lamps.

Raplacing a drivers side front marker light.

To replace the sidemarker light on a 96 Towncar, raise the hood and open the black plastic flap behind the header panel on that side. There is a 11mm nut down about 5" on the side. Remove it. The screw is on the outside just past the plastic lens. Pull the light out far enough to unscrew the bulb socket.

Hood emblem installation

Just put the replacement hood ornament in the hole and use a pair of pliers to pull down and turn the lock 1/4 turn clockwise. It is spring loaded and if you look real close at the ornament you will see what piece to pull down and turn. Right now it is locked in its shipping spot.
