Is there a tube or "tip" that fits over the water spout in the door water dispenser?

No, your tube may be too far up in the dispenser causing it to splash or dribble. Try turning the water to the refrigerator off then push the water switch while pulling the dispensing tube to see if that will bring the water tube closer to the dispensing area.

No water, no ice-LG LFD21860ST

Sound like a water supply problem, as both get water from the same source. Both valves are connected to the water line that supplies water to the frig, in the back, bottom, behind the cardboard cover. Make sure the water valve is on for that line. The noises indicate thew valves are probably working, but are not getting any water.

Water is slowly trickling out of water dispenser

This is usually because the water filter on the supply line needs replacing.
If it has not been replaced within 6 months, then this will probably cure it.

Low water pressure on door dispenser

i have a similar problem. my water dispenser worked perfectly with the origional filter for about 8 month . then there was a decrease in water output. i then changed the filter.this worked fine for about 2 weeks . changed the filter again 2 days of water output. i have since changed the filter 2 more time with the same results. i do not have a kinked line . i have had the refer for about 1 1/2 years. ice production is down also . any thoughts?
