No Signal/wrong setting?

The phone is not getting a signal and I do not have the owners manual any longer, looking for the settings to make sure it is set to automatic and not analog? I cannot get any bars on my phone no matter what I do. If I attempt to make a call it just tells me call failed. Ihave an AT&T go phone

Emerson model LC391EMI, How do you turn on the 1080 feature.

If its 1080 it must be connected with signal to a 1080 input---be sure to check owner manual as some sets are only 720 etc and will not support 1080.

If in doubt try to Google the model number for 'specs" or "manual".

Set if 1080 and getting 1080 signal via correct connections will automatically show it.

My magnavox LCD 32

Look in set up menu and owner manual---something is set wrong--also if using box for signal check to see if the menu you are seeing is the box's or the sets menu.

Not available is all I get from the cordless phone which used to work with this phone. I have tried everything and can't get the cordless extension phone to work with this base.

It sounds like the extension phone needs to be keyed-in to the signal frequency of the base unit. It could have lost the frequency key for several reasons. 1st, make sure the battery signal is not showing a low battery. Next, depending on the model, you may have to sit the extension phone in the cradle on the base unit in order for the signals to coincide, or you may have to remove the battery from the remote phone for one minute to allow it to reset itself, or there may be a set (combination) of key buttons that need to be pressed to make the signal transfer between the remote and base, then it will lock-in and work normal from then on. You need to consult your owners manual for this set(combination) of buttons to depress if this is the case. If you do not have the manual, you can go to www.owneriq.net (that's owner iQ) I'm reasonbly sure it is .net and not .com; good luck, Macgivor.

We cannot receive faxes in

First thing to look at, that is if you can send. Look and verify that the phone line is in the "line" jack and not the extension or phone jack.
Then be sure the fax settings are these. ECM is ON, Secure fax is OFF, Delay fax is OFF, and Junk Fax is OFF. Those 3 being set wrong will also cause that problem.
Another cause is a noisy phone line, or if the machine is on a digital phone line. Ex, DSL line.
Unlike sending, where you make an actual physical connestion, when you receive the line voltage and current have to be correct. So a phone line issue is possible. I relate it to haveing a tv remote with weak batteries. If they are low, there is not enough signal to chnage stations , volume etc. If the line signal to the fax machine ie weak, there is not enough signal to turn the fax receive on.
Start with the location of the cord, then the settings, the suspect the phone line. It is almost NEVER the machine, unless you experience a lightning strike.

Gps wont pick up satilites

Make sure all the connections at the back of the unit are tight. If it still doesn't respond try a new puck.

Ive connected the vga cable and still get "NO SIGNAL" msg.

If the resolution of the source of the RGB signal is outside of the range of the set, you will get this mesage. The supported resolutions are listed in the owner's manual. Verify that you have a signal within that range. If you do, please post your source of the video here and we'll look further.

Thanks,
Dan
