Question about Kingston (DTIU3/2GB) 2 GB USB Hard Drive
When I try copying files to my Kingston data traveler I get a message that it can't find the files and before that it says that the transfer is going to take 4 hours
It works fine on other computers, and other usb devices work on my computer
I have windows vista...what to do?
Sounds like a bad hard disk or a malware virus interceptiong all data and corrupting it.
try www.hdtune.com free home version. if in health tab shows yellow. start looking for a hard disk
try in start, run (type) chkdsk /f black windows shows. press Y then enter reboot. see if it finds corruption. if its data not physical damage, it might fix it!
for virus malware issues i usualy head to majorgeeks.com for top 10 dloads and forum help.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
