Question about RCA D52W20 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I unplugged tv for over an hour but same results - no picture or sound
Had the same problem removed back panel and blew with compressed air now it works yeah

I'm having the exact same problem. So far, all info I've found states it's probably a loss of high voltage. My RCA bigscreen is 4 years old & just started having this issue. Many other websites I've looked at regarding this say that a repair will only keep the TV going for another year or two before it could happen again. The price of TVs has come down a lot, so will probably just be more cost effective to buy a new one. I'm going to contact local repair shops today, but people have informed me that this type of repair is almost 500 bucks :( I will post any new info I might come upon.

What source is the video and sound coming from? try unplugging and resetting the video and source sources too.
