No sound on one side of headphones - Audio Players & Recorders

I have the same problem, it just started suddenly yesterday. No problems before this. Volume coming out of the left speaker is significantly lower as well. When I plug the headphones directly into the MP3 without the extension cord the volume intensity returns to normal but still can only hear out of the left side. I've tried cleaning all the contacts to no avail. This is really annoying and it's happened with several MP3's that I've owned in the past.

Sir, i have a apple ipod classic 80 gb but recently i cannot hear at one side of the headphone may be the reason i hve dropped it so i need to know how much cost to fix it in ...

Usually if you can only hear sound from one side of the headphones then it is often due to a problem with the headphones rather than the iPod.
Try a different pair of headphones and see if the audio improves. Otherwise, I would recommend inRepair, based in india to get a quote on a repair.

ITouch 2nd g only plays music throuhg left side of all headphones

Try playing with the headphone plug, until you can also hear the right
channel and also try a different set of headphones as it is probably a
matter of an intermittent headphone jack, or plug, owing to sudden
snatching of the headphone plug from same, a very common problem.

Eliminate this cause before submitting your Touch for much more
expensive remedies

If you wrap the headphone around your iPod, after a while, it may bend a pin in the headphone jack, causing no contact to be made, therefor one side of music. You can try to bend it back with a pin, or order a new ******** www.ifixitcom.

I hear more from my right side of my ipod with headphones

There is 2 possible reasons this is happening, 1 is that you have better hearing in your right ear or it's possible that your headphones are tangled and if they are the sound waves will not come through fully.
