Camera says out of memory won't let me take pictures. i cleared all the pictures out and still cant take pictures. What do you think the problem is?

I'm assuming you are trying to use an SD card in your camera and not the internal memory. I suggest you format the memory card if you are sure there is nothing on the card. Formatting the memory card deletes everything on the card and sets it up with a file system that your camera recognizes. Follow these steps to format your memory card using your camera. 1. Turn camera off 2. Insert memory card 3. Turn camera on 4. When the memory card is inserted in the camera, the [Format card] option appears in the setup menu 5. Choose Format to format the entire card. Don't choose Quick Format 6. Wait until your card is formatted
After formatting your memory card, try turning your camera off and on and you should now be able to take pictures to your memory card.
P.S. If you remove your memory card you can choose Format Memory from the setup menu to format the camera's built-in internal memory

In olympus fe 280 when i have placed the xd in the camera and turn on the camera then it displayed two options either to clean up or format then i have chosed format then it displayed after some time like...

A camera memory card should always be formatted IN the camera.
Do not format camera memory cards in a computer card reader.

If the card is formatted in the camera and after that the same error pops up,
you should replace the memory card and recheck.

When I plug my camera into the computer it won't format. The battery is charged, there is no memory card in the camera.

What makes you think you need to use the computer to format the camera? Why do you need to format the camera at all? We format memory cards and we format internal memories of cameras but these functions are done in the camera, not the computer.

Why My kodak dc280 can not read the memory card?

Try formatting your camera memory card If you own camera memory cards that have been used in other digital cameras, the card may not be properly formatted for use in your camera, or that data on the card may become corrupted. When these issues arise, your camera indicates that the camera memory card needs to be formatted.
When you format a camera memory card, all of the information on the card is erased. This includes any borders supplied on the card.

Memory card requires formatting- I select continue then it says "formatting will delete everything on memory card-I select "continue" then it reads "formatting" and repeates itself

1. Make sure your SD card is not locked so the camera can format the card. If the camera still cannot format the card, try to format the card with a computer. If this doesn' t work, the card may be defective.

If the computer can format the card, the put the card back in the camera and then the camera should be able to format the card. The camera MUST format the card before the camera can save to the card.

"Memory card cannot be read"

My camera used to do the same thing--once I got the pictures off my card, I left it in the card reader, right clicked on removable media (my computer + removable storage) chose to "format" and formatted it on my computer. It seems to have fixed the problem, and my camera now reads it fine. I tried to format it on the camera before, but it didnt work.

The camera screen displays error message

This error message means that the card is corrupted or formatted for another digital camera. Turn off the camera. Insert a new card or format the card. CAUTION: Formatting deletes all pictures and videos, including those that are protected. Removing a card during formatting may damage the card.
