Trouble with Word Puzzles in e-mail on dial-up

Since Hurricane Ike hit us hard I have lost my DSL service (Hughes.net) nothing else is available so now I m on dial-up - mail plus - I get the word puzzle EVERY TIME I try to reply to a message - I know it's important but it slows me down so much because sometimes I get them wrong - so it takes 10 minutes or more to send ONE reply. Is there anything you can do to maybe slow down that puzzle? I don't mind it every once in a while - but after every message? Don't you think that is excessive? I only belong to ONE Group and have only a few friends - please see if you can help me - I am fixing to throw this computer out the window.

Sincerely,
Morrigan Black

I finally found the option to talk to a live person - who could not help at all - he told me not to put any attachmetns in mail or attach them - and then I would not get all those puzzles - why have fun???? I told him that that is unreasonable since I only have small butterfly and my name in the signature which Yahoo provides in their options - if I could find a better service - I would -

The problem of not receiving all my mail and it bouncing back - he told me to write to a Postmaster (he did supply the URL) but when I try they bounce back.

Yahoo no longer cares about keeping customers - and don't realize how boring it would be if we can never send pictures or some images - but I guess it is what it is.

I do not have the money to join any plan where I have to pay - I'll just try to take care of things myself.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

The software for Local Net should be in your Add/Remove programs. If it is in there, just right click on the program, and click uninstall.

Lose internet connection (hughes net) when hooking up router

I would contact your hughes net, that is a satelite provider. That is a total different system, than dsl or cable. Hughes net should be able to walk you through the setup.

Lost power cord

You should try matching up the amperage (A) and voltage (12V) with a universal adapter. You can find at radio shack or walmart. Make sure you get as close to possible to correct amps, anything more than the correct amps can fry your tv. Volts doesn't have to be exact

Problem with oven door latch

Hello noahsark,

Welcome to Fixya

You said, after Hurricane Ike, when the electricity came back on, you noticed the oven door latch was in lock position and the door would not close because it would hit the door latch. You guess the door latch locked on it's own with the surge of electricity but did not lock the door in place. And that you have never used the self cleaning oven, so the door latch has never been used. How can I get the latch to unlock itself?

Was the range get under water?
If so there may be some shorts in it or faulty electronic parts!

Try turning the range off and then turning the power off at the breaker for 5 minutes.
This is should reset the system in an electronic range.
If it works , great .
If not you may need service to diagnose your electronic problem.
Let me know that it works!!!!!

Send me the Brand and mode;l number.

Please remember to leave a rating when you finish.

Outgoing email

I have had this problem for months, works when it wants to. Customer support pretty much told me if I can access their webmail system then everything is working correctly. I have tried to explain that they aren't the same settings but apparently they dont understand that.

I have tried setting up email again and sometimes that works. Though today all I get is my password isn't correct even though nothing has changed since it worked yesterday

Good luck.

Dial up problems

In order to help you further I need the following questions answered:
What OS are you currently running?
Are you connected to a landline dialup or DSL?
Because if you are using dialup, that is your problem right there! Most of the people who are still using dial connections instead of DSL or Cable will have these problems. Technology is evolving so fast that even the phone companies seem to have trouble tell their customers that dialup is a problem because they are not supporting it anymore. They are selling it, but not supporting it because of DSL, FIOS, and cable.
You may want to upgrade, because even if the problem is resolved you will still encounter problems due to the lack of support!
