Check the computer the printer is connected to.. go to printers and faxes.. right click on your printer icon...select sharing.....make sure the "share this printer " box is checked. You may need to install additional drivers if the other computers on the network are not running the same version of windows as the computer connected to the printer.

Won't Print Microsoft Visual C Error

Hi,
I would suggest contacting the person who installed the wireless. If you paid for the service they must repair the problem. A Technician should not leave your computer in a mess like this one did. If you don't get any satisfaction from them, call the Better Business Bureau and see what can be done to rectify this problem. If you try to fix their mess you won't have a case. I hope this helps.

Caro.

New Vista Computer wont print last line, XP no problem

Using the print or printer setup (I can remember what is actually written) from within word. ensure that the print margins are not to small and cutting off your words, or if the print is appearing close to the edge of the paper when you print, you maybe outside the range of the prints ability to print that close to the edge of the page in whice case you would increase your margins in the print setup (ie from .125 to .375 or .50)

I have a computer with the Vista software and I'm having problems connecting a printer. The computer is a Gateway and the printer is Lexmark X4550.

The reason you are having problems is because you need to install the driver for the printer. The driver is the software that allows the operating system and the printer to communicate.

For your specfic printer , you can download the driver here: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/PRINTER/LEXMARK/Lexmark-X4550-Printer-Driver-10111.shtml

Simply download it and run the setup , it will install the printer for you and you should be able to print!
