Question about SanDisk Sansa c150 MP3 Player

Scan disk c150 strucked...

I have a scan disk c150 mp3 player and unfortunately i have deleted all the contents in it including the drivers in it and i don't have a driver cd...i thought of updating it with the firmware but the problem is my computer does't even detect the player when i connect the usb port.

Did you follow the instructions for the firmware update? (holding the select button while inserting the USB cable) The firmware s/w SHOULD detect the device by itself, regardless of existing drivers. You may want to use the firmware image linked here

My sansa sandisk c150 doesnt work


Hello,
Just follow these steps below:
To format the mp3 player.
Go through: Setting>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk management>
Try to format it with fat files system or the file system you are accustomed with.

Sounds like you need to reset it, or possibly do an emergency reload of the firmware (which will clear the contents). Details can be found here

San Disk Sansa c150 Trying to erase all songs


To delete songs from your device follow the steps below
You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync panel in your windows media player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete.
To format it..on your device..go under..menu, setting and there should be a format option option there..let me know if that doenst work for you...

Have you tried leaving it in the hot water cuboard for a few days so it dries and make sure you dont turn it on before then, Otherwise its buggard.
