Question about Sony Digital Cameras

When i turn on my sony cybershot cam the vir=ew find shows stretched picture with washed out colour and blurry lines around image edges

    When I turn on my sony cybershot all I get is blurry image; have to wait and turn sideways for picture to come into focus then when I take a picture there are lines going through it; this camera is less than one year old.

My Sony Cybershot has started to take bad pictures


Its ccd imager chip problem in your camera that produce such noisy image in camera mode ans same is being stored in memory when you take picture.
Let me know exact model number written at bottom of camera to provide you ccd imager chip part number info.

Blurry picture grainy and some greenish color around edges this camera was given to me and the pictures that were already on it look great but when I take new pictures I gthankset these problems


There may be the issue with the CCD (image sensor device) of the Camera.

Looks CCD Imager in your Sony DSC-T1 is bad and Sony will repair it free of cost.

Blurry pictures


there is a problem with your hardware in the set.
The IMAGE IC has got a problem. So change it for the best result.

Image not showing...black horizontal lines instead


Was it fixed by an AUTHORIZED service center.
Sounds like the CCD/sensor has failed, which is the eye of the camera. Go to a reputable place, I know one in Florida, but I don't know where you are.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Sony should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following link for more info:

Sony Cyber-shot Digicams - Picture Quality !?!?!?


I'm assuming you purchased a Sony as replacement. If that's the case, take it back and ask for a new one or have it checked out. Something sounds horribly wrong to me. If by chance you got one of those Chinese/Taiwanese cameras. Give it away and go back to the P72. Of course, a few hours reading the manual and playing with the camera may solve your problems. Don't try to get fancy first off. Stick with Auto modes until you get a feel for what you're doing. If you are using Auto the go back to the first sentence :-) BMW
