I can not connect my printer to my PS optus wifi

Is this a networked printer with a wireless adapter fitted?
Do you have a wireless router or access point?
You mention a PS Optus - I assume this is a PlayStation device - how are you connecting the printer to this box?
I found a reference to the A3-3311 error in a Samsung CLX-318X document which states that this is a failed connection to a SMTP server which doesn't make a lot of sense. SMTP = Simple Mail Transfer Protocol and is used for e-mail when sending an outgoing message. Printers do not normally send e-mail messages in my experience.
