Just found one of these gadgets for easy proramming of a VCR, bought for my mother -ease of use!. however she's lost the instructions on how to set the time etc. Anyone out there who can provide me with the instructions please?
Fortunately I've found the instructions. However for anyone needing to know how to set the time of day - here goes - along the top above the display there are 3 tiny recessed buttons marked day, hour, min. Using a pencil or other pointed implement press these buttons to set.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I just found the answer after I posted as another user with this same problem. After much searching, I've found the code 0741. I've not testing all the functionality, but I can at least change the channel now. This is the One-For-All URC-4220 remote with Insignia dvd/vcr combo unit. Hope this helps!
