Washer 832a not draining

Open the drain in the front of the machine, removing cylindrical filter and allow the water to drain. Filter must be clogged. Put a shallow vessel below the drain to collect accumulated dirty water.

I have a Haier HWD1600 washer dryer combo that I am getting an error 2 on. It will not drain the water out and I have not been able to clear it for the past two months

Its a common error,
Error message:Drain error, water can be not drained fully within the required drain time
Reason 1. Pump filter is blocked.
Solution 1. Please open and clean the pump filter. (Filter access door is on the bottom right, at floor level of the washing machine)
Step 1.Push a flat blade screwdriver into the slot on the filter cover and pull it open ,do not use excessive force.(Fig 1).
Step 2.Remove the rubber hose from its clip and stand a suitable container under it, remove the bung to drain the water (Fig 2-3)
Step 3.Replace the bung and fit it back into its clip (Fig 4-5).
Step 4. Unscrew the filter and rinse it under running water, replace it and close the flap(Fig 6-7-8).
Caution:
1. The filter must be in place during operation, ensure it is in place after cleaning to avoid leakage.
2.Place a container under the drain pump filter, to collect any excess water that may come out of the drain pump when the filter is removed.

Reason 2. Drain hose end is higher than 100cm above the floor level.
Solution 2. Please adjust the height of drain hose to 80-100cm above the floor.

Reason 3. Drain hose is blocked or twisted.
Solution 3. Please check and clean the drain hose for blockage.

Reason 4. Drain hose is too long, or water is back filling from waste water pipes.
Solution 4. Remove any extension to the original drain hose.
Ensure the highest part of the drain hose is nearest the washing machine.Check the waste water pipes in the building are clear of any obstructions and flow freely.

Some water sits in the bottom and does not drain completely. Don't know if the drain inside the sink was not properly installed or if the sink is designed that way.

this is not supposed to happen, either drain not installed properly or drain is clogged. suggest trying drain cleaner first if sink has been in for a period of time. if sink is recently installed call whoever installed and have them fix the drain

There is a trench/drain on the back wall behind

If you can view to rear of the unit wnd remove the bottom panel, there should be a hose coming from the drain to a pan of some type. If it has clamps on both ends remove the tube, place a vessel under the top tube attach point of trench drain and test the trench drain, if water is flowing freely from the drain to the vessel then clean out the tubing and replace.

have the plumber pop an opening on the side of the drain pipe under the sink. and add a indoor vent.

Pegasus Push Button Vessel Sink Drain with overflow

Put plumbers putty around the flange that will be in contact with the sink. When you put it into the hole, try to line up the overflow as good as possible. The nut that goes onto the bottom (tailpiece) has a rubber gasket that will go between the nut & the sink. Adding some plumbers putty here won't hurt. After all is secure, just remove the putty that squeezed out from tightening.

Can vent kit be from rear of machine

Yes ,a vent kit can be fitted, and is fitted to the rear of the dryer at the right hand side.
If you buy the genuine Hotpoint kit, it comes complete with all extra fittings.

Water collects on shelves in refrig.

sounds like a drain clog in the freezer compartment above. remove the freezer rear panel and totally defrost the evaporator area, directly under the evap you see( under all taht ice) a small drain hole that has become frozen over, try defrosting with either a hair dryer( not a heat gun too much heat youl melt everything) or by pouring hot water donw the drain until you get a free flow of water down the tube. after its clear reassemble and you should be fine

Connecting a drain hose

Most units have a drain connection, either on the machine itself, or in the collection pail. These connections usually fit standard garden hoses.
