It depends on the brand of your BIOS. Try these two steps, Press F2 upon boot up or press ESC and F1 upon boot up.

Would just like to clarify that with the ESC and F1 method you do not push them both at the same time. El-Tokyo is referring to pushing (tapping or holding) the ESC key alone immediately after powering on until the system prompts you to push F1 to enter BIOS setup. And thanks to El-Tokyo for his helpful solution.

Hi,

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Your laptop?

it would be easy...i think you can do that alone..if file missing only...try to repair your windows....first, what operating sytem do you have? XP or vista?....i hope you have the oroginal cd for that...if you have, then no problem.....lets start....
1.go in bios setup..change the setting into the CDrom boot.
2.insert the OS disk and save the setting in the bios and amke restart.
3.you can boot now into the OS cd and press any key to continue..and you will install now the windows....
