make sure u don't have the tv set to the video output that the game does not support...with that said u could try this.. under settings>display setting>video output setting> if u have it connected with an hdmi (i'll go with this one) click on hdmi and choose custom. on the next screen u can try selecting the video output that u want to play it in... the 480p choice will always be highligted. hope this helps

I want cheats for Ridge racers5

I'm not sure if you're asking for cheat codes for use with Ridge Racer DS for the Nintendo DS, or Ridge Racer V for the Playstation 2 - Unfortunately, neither game has actual cheats built into them. You can, however, use a hex editor tool (also referred to as a Trainer, Gameshark, or Action Replay), which would allow you to cheat.

good day sir may i help you, first sir lets try checking your video set up.
go settings scroll down, until you set to display settings, get video output settings its going to ask you what cable are you going to use? there should be a HDMI in there and its the best, its gonna ask automatic or custom, go to custom if your ps3 recognize your TV that it can support 480p to 1080p (try 480p just in case) you should see it if not you wont, then go to the next window to the right to see your over all settings.. thank you and please send us you feed back.. fixya

PS3 display settings

Check the owners manual for your TV to see what the max. resolution is and then confirm settings in ps3 menu
sounds like you have the right resolution but wrong type of signal (interlaced or progressive (eg. 480i, 480p))

Xbox Dashboard on high definition TV

With the latest update to the Xbox Dashboard available from Xbox Live®, you can change the default display mode of the Xbox Dashboard from 480i to 480p. Connect your console to the component inputs of a 480p-capable TV using an Xbox High Definition AV Pack toview the Xbox Dashboard in high definition. To get the latest Xbox Dashboard Using a Broadband connection and the Ethernet connector on the back of the console, connect your Xbox to the Xbox Live servers. When you do so, the latest version of Xbox Live, including the Xbox Dashboard, automatically downloads. You do not need to subscribe to Xbox Live for this update to automatically download to your Xbox. But if you don't have an Xbox Live account, get one! To set the Xbox Dashboard to 480p Connect your Xbox console to the component inputs of a TV that supports 480p with an Xbox High Definition AV Pack. Start the Xbox console without a disc in the tray to run the Xbox Dashboard. Note If your Xbox console takes you to the Xbox Livearea rather than the Xbox Dashboard main menu, press the B button on the Xbox controller twiceto return to the Xbox Dashboard main menu. From the main menu of the Xbox Dashboard, select Settings. Fromthe Settings menu, select Video. Fromthe Video menu, select 480p. Select Yes to confirm that your TV supports 480p. Pull and hold both the left and right triggers. While holding the triggers, click (press in) the left and right thumbsticks. After a brief blank screen, the Xbox Dashboard will display in 480p. If you want to return to 480i, repeat the controller combination in step 7, or switch your Xbox High Definition AV Pack with another type of AV pack. Note The opening Xbox animation does not display in 480p, only 480i. To resetthe Xbox Dashboard to 480i Start the Xbox console without a disc in the tray torun the Xbox Dashboard.
