I'm not using the flippingbook, instead I use the one of Kvisoft which can convert PDF to flash flipbook on mac. No problem happens, so maybe you can try it.

Connect the Machine to Your Computer:
First, ensure that your Onity key machine is properly connected to your computer. You can use either a USB or Ethernet connection, depending on your machine's configuration.
Be cautious not to damage any of the connections while setting up.
Launch the Access Control Software:
Once the machine is connected, launch the access control software provided by Onity.
Double-check that all the information (such as username and password) is correctly entered.
Select the "Reset" Option:
From the software's main menu, choose the "Reset" option.
You'll be prompted to enter an authorized user ID and password assigned to the machine's operator account.
After verifying these credentials, you can enter the reset mode.
Input New Credentials:
While in the reset mode, input new credentials for the machine.
Set a unique password and click "OK".
Remember this password, as you'll need it each time you use the key cutting device.
Confirm the Reset:
Confirm the reset by clicking "Yes" on the confirmation prompt.
Wait until the process completes successfully.
The machine will reboot automatically after a few seconds.

Does anything happen at all when you try to open it? For instance, are there any error messages? Have you tired reinstalling it? Would also help to know what Operating System you're running...Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8)? Mac (Lion, Snow Leopard)? Linux?

The driver installation may not have completed successfully. If you think this may be the case, follow these steps:
Keep your device connected
From the desktop, go to Start > Start Search
Enter "Device Manager" or "devmgmt.msc" to launch the Device Manager window
Look under the "Network adapters" node for "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter". If this is not present, skip to step 5. Otherwise, right-click "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter" and choose to "Uninstall"
Look under the "Mobile Devices" node for "Microsoft USB Sync". If this is not present, skip to step 6. Otherwise, right-click "Microsoft USB Sync" and choose to "Uninstall"
Disconnect and reconnect your device. Your device driver will re-install and Windows Mobile Device Center will launch.
Had the same with wireless and brightness hotkeys not working, you might be missing
Launch Manager. Browse to Li 2727 on
http://ts.fujitsu.com/support/downloads.html and download the launch manager for windows vista, verified by myself it works on windows 7 aswell. Install launch manager and
the wireless + brightness hotkeys will work again without any further
setup!

Try to verify this by sending the same fax to other fax machines. If these transmissions are successful, then notify the user of the remote machine to make them aware of the issue.

Solutions
Try to verify this by sending the same fax to other fax machines. If these transmissions are successful, then notify the user of the remote machine to make them aware of the issue.

Verify if multiple calc works if you launch it from windows, without using the hot-key. if that does not work, its a windows issue - might need a full repair / install. If windows is able to launch it - you can fix the issue by reinstalling any drivers for your kbd.
