I'm trying to play movies from my USB port, but when I plug it I can't .... My LG 47" TV will recognize and open the flash drive, but shows empty.
this tv will only play mp4 video (MPEG-4) ONLY AND DOES NOT PLAY THE H.264 MP4 FILETYPE EITHER...ONLY TRUE MP4, BEST BET IS TO GRAB YOUTUBEDOWNLOADER (IT'S FREE) AND USE THE CONVERSION FEATURE TO CONVERT YOUR MOVIES TO THE IPAD VIDEO SETTING WITH SAME QUALITY AS ORIGINAL SELECTED...CONVERSION TAKES 30 SECONDS...BEST 100% GUARANTEED TO WORK ANSWER..I KNOW...I HAVE ONE CONNECTED TO MY 4TB HARD DRIVE.
3D in tv technology wright now are in it infincy. Not worth the money to buy the 3D LED tv and it 3D external devices.Right now are very limited in productions in movies in 3D world or 3D movies for tv or transfer from 3D movies from the movies theather Big Screen.Right now, just best to watch 3D movies in the theather Big Screen.Stick to a 2 dementional LCD tv screen for at lest another 5 years, before there are 3D tvs and movies, will make a difference in ur lives.
I would advise knocking down the resolution. Try and use software, like red kawa, to convert a few of your movies to different formats till you find a decent one. A widely accepted codec setup is Divx/XVid (both are the same) and MP3 sound.
