There is an error with the HDD (Hard Drive)

It has either malfunctioned or the interface cable has been disconnected or not connected properly.
If the HDD still spins (listen for the spinup) then it has either malfunctioned or cable has not been connected properly.

The m:robe is quite out of date so you might as well open it up and try to fix it.

    1. Unscrew the screws (2 on sides, 2 on bottom)
    2. Remove the Back Cover
The Big shinny metal object is the hard drive
    3. Along the top and bottom are two pieces of tape, peel it off.
    4. Pull the HDD out and disconnect the interface from m:robe and HDD (make it easier)
    5. Open the brown flap on the m:robe mainboard and try to insert the interface cable as far in as possible
    6. Close the flap again to lock the interface cable.
    7. Plug the HDD back in the other end.
    8. Place HDD pack in place and it doesnt matter if the sticky take is there or not.
    9. Put the lid back on

I had the same problem, and I had an old mr500i with a bad battery. I swapped the flex cable that connects the hard drive to the circuit board and it worked. So first try re-connecting the cable to the hdd. If that doesn't work, see if you can find a new cable. If that still doesnt work, your hdd is probably toast.

Hi my panasonic sa vk90d is giving me an f61 problem when i turn it on

Hi,
F61 is an error code(protect error code in other brand) for panasonic home theater system. This will trigger if the unit gone to overload to avoid further damaged to other parts. This code is quite technical if your not handy with electronics. However I will say to you the common caused of this error code.
1. Output IC - this is the most common caused of the error code. Once shorts happened to this IC, it will trigger the error code. Exposure to high volume and/or running in the long time will caused this IC to shorts and produce an overload.
2. Shorted Speaker - if one of your speakers shorts, error code will appear also. This may isolate by disconnecting the speaker to the set and play the unit naked. If the symptom still there the fault came from the unit itself.
3. Shorted Inputs - inputs connector is also prone to shorts due to frequent bending and pulling. To isolate this from fault, disconnect all the inputs connected to the unit like the aux input, antenna, mic, etc.
4. Faulty power supply - once gone to out-of-regulation condition, the error code will appear to protect the most expensive parts from further damaged. Bad solder joints in this section is also to consider.
5. Faulty Fan and its circuitry - F61 will appear only after a minute of operation not upon powering on the unit. Check the fan if working or not...
I would advice you to send the unit to your local Panasonic service center and leave the expert isolate the symptoms.
Also, check if your unit is under warranty period, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

I solved the code 10 problem on my vista 64 by using Revo uninstaller on the next to highest level to remove Acronis 10.4942 After this all media readers appeared and worked. A later version of Acronis Emergency boot disk still works to backup/ restore my system

This error code is very hard to fix. You may end up having to send it back to Olympus or buy a new one. But here's a few things to try and you may get lucky. Connect the remote, power on the player and hold down the heart, mode and play buttons on the remote at the same time. This re-sets the player. If this doesn't work, remove the back cover. There are 4 small screws that hold the back plate on. Once the cover is removed, unplug the battery. Plug it back in after 30 seconds. The player should re-boot. You can also try disconnecting the hard drive and reconnecting it. Unplug the battery before disconnecting the hard drive. If none of these suggestions work, you may be out of luck. i know of no other ways to fix this error code.
